The world’s first black fighter pilot was an American – Eugene Bullard. But Bullard’s first military uniform was French. Bullard  fought for the French in World War I – before the United States entered the war – and was decorated for his heroism. Albuquerque author Larry Greenly talks about Bullard at 1:30 p.m.  Saturday, Feb. 15 at the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History. Greenly wrote the book “Eugene Bullard: World’s First Black Fighter Pilot.” The book’s audiences are young readers and teens.
